Working as a professional luthier for more 20 years, Kevin S. Working out of his own custom guitar shop, Kevin has developed a "neck-through" guitar design and patented bridge system to function together as a "whole-unit design". These key features are what distinguishes the KSM Model 358™ Guitar from many other guitars on the market. Every KSM Model 358™ Guitar is built with the KSM Foundation™ Guitar Bridge.
All KSM Foundation™ Bridges utilize a patented ramp design in its construction which allows for precise adjustments and maximizes the transfer of string-to-body vibrations. The bridge’s patented locking system locks all moving components into position after final adjustments are made to prevent any part from vibrating loose after extended use. In addition, the locking system, working in conjunction with the solid housing of the bridge system, offers unmatched stability in the bridge’s design that allows the bridge to achieve the benefits of one solid piece. While the KSM Foundation™ Guitar Bridge is only available on custom guitars built by KSM Guitars, KSM also manufactures the KSM Foundation™ Bass Bridge that utilizes this same technology.
Both the KSM Foundation™ Bass Bridge and the KSM Foundation™ Guitar Bridge are made of high-grade aircraft aluminum. Therefore the light, durable, and very resonant material resists all corrosion and rust, while continually maintaining tonal integrity.
