Sam Cottrell
With 23 years experience, Sam Cottrell has been a musical sojourner for nearly his entire life. At the age of 13 he began playing in his first band, which lasted till the end of high school, playing popular rock and blues tunes. At 18 a friend invited him into a more challenging situation, playing progressive rock and fusion. From that springboard Sam began to study jazz, classical, rock, country, and Latin. At 23 he joined local Funk/Ska outfit Catfische.
